Club10 Christmas party a major hit

Last night was the first Annual Christmas party at Gentleman's club10. And it was a fantastic night for all in attendance. From 7P.m. to 4 A.M. the club was full. Finding a parking spot was hard to do, and finding a spot to sit was just as tough.
The dancers were all dressed up like Santa's little helpers, and so were some of the guests. Prizes were handed out from Triple 6 Tattoo's and Naughty Nights, and the entire affair was catered.
Both men and women filled the club for the event. Husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends alike.
Some of the folks in attendance have not been to the club before last night, and all had similar comments about the say.
"This place is great",
" I had no idea how different this place is compared to other clubs"
"My wife is having even more fun than I am".

The jello Wrestling caught the attention of all in club and proved to be a hit. The girls got all wild and sticky as they crowd cheered them on. After words, I caught up with one of the dancers who took part and asked her about being in the pool of Jello. "That was fun, very sticky, but fun"
The performers had a great time, dancing and chatting it up with all the people in attendance.

Each special event night at club10 seems to have more and more success. More and more people are finding their way to the club, and spreading the word on the good time they are having.

Pictures from the event (sorry, no naughty ones) may be put up when I receive some.

A Year in Review

This year has been an interesting one in our local area. With the opening of Gentlemen's Club 10 , some people were thrilled, and others, not so thrilled. Since then it has been a long debate between many of locals in the W-B area.
One local has even gone as far as trying to scare away customers from the club by taking their pictures when they go into the club. But this has not seemed to stop folks from dropping by the club.
I opened this web site to let the other side of the story be heard. To point out the flaws and misinformation that the "Family Man" was posting on his website.
The first big issue came when the BYOB ban hit our area. Many thought this would seal the fate of club10. During that time I told many how the club would be grandfathered in, just as they were with their ordinances. The opposition of course did not believe me. But, I was right. The ban backfired, the club changed the age limit to 18, increased their customer base, and the current customers continued to BYOB.
Soon after the failure of the BYOB ban, the local man dubbed "Mr.Family" made a horrific claim that, while he was driving by the club he witnessed a baby being carried into the club. (Of course no one else saw this, his exact words were "I swear to you before God" that he saw the baby. With in a few hours of his claim, I received an Email from a manager at the club. The very woman that was walking into the club when Mr.Family claimed to see a baby. This woman gave me a copy of the security tapes to prove that it was not a baby, but several boxes of supplies for the club. I posted the picture as proof, as the tape showed this was the only woman entering on this day with anything in her arms. But Family boy they claimed the woman was wearing different clothing. Because I am sure he can remember exactly what she was wearing as he was driving past the club at 30 miles an hour. Seeing her for a mere few seconds. (yeah right, nice try). But another failure in the plans of the family man.

Once I posted the picture of the woman (seen above) the opposition changed his story to saying the club is not making money. That they will be closing soon, that they can not afford to pay the bills. All these claims were made by guessing, and counting cars in the parking lot. Well, I would say that counting cars is not the way to judge that the club is making money. Go by the fact the club has upgraded to two, 92" HD projectors hanging from the ceiling so folks inside can watch Monday night football, or boxing or any of the sporting events that are on. Maybe go with the repeated showings of big name adult stars coming to the club to dance, or the multiple local businesses that have teamed with club10 to do promotions.
Their special event nights have been a growing success. Everything from "Beer pong" night to the newly announce "Bondage" night that showcases Dominatrix shows and other fetishes. The club continues to flourish. Not to mention the after hours during the weekends that packs the club full.

As I began to look more into the laws, I noticed new claims by the opposition again. That the club snuck in, and they defied the ordinances. So I did a little bit of home work. And what turned up was HUGE in this debate. The original W-B TWP, ordinances that were in place when the club filed for it's permit. ( the reason the club was denied it was so the TWP could change them before the doors opened, but the grandfather clause once again saved the club). Below is the original list of ordinances that apply to a cabaret. Even when I read them, I was shocked as to what was allowed in the TWP. Below are the ordinances, first is their explanation of Cabaret, followed by the definition of a Sex-Related Establishment, as you can see both list "entertainers exhibiting specified anatomical areas or performing specified sexual activities." The definition of what W-B TWP allowed as far as specified anatomical areas and what can be preformed is also listed.

Cabaret: An adult club, restaurant, theater, hall or similar place which feature topless dancers, go-go dancers, exotic dancers, strippers, male or female impersonators or similar entertainers exhibiting specified anatomical areas or performing specified sexual activities.

Sex-Related Establishment.: These include adult book stores, adult mini-motion picture theaters, adult motion picture theaters, cabarets, featuring adult clubs, topless dancers, female impersonators or similar entertainers exhibiting specified anatomical areas or performing specified sexual activities and massage businesses.

Specified Anatomical Areas: Less than completely and opaquely covered: (i) Human genitals, pubic regions; buttocks and female breasts below a point immediately above the top of the areola; and (ii) human male genitals in a discernibly turgid state, even if completely and opaquely covered.

Specified Sexual Activities: (i) Human genitals in a state of sexual stimulation or arousal; (ii) acts of human masturbation, sexual intercourse or sodomy; (iii) fondling or other touching of human genitals, pubic region, buttocks or female breasts.
As you can see, there is a lot that is allowed, But the club has never gone as far as the ordinances have allowed. They stick to the nude dancing.

As I looked to learn more on the laws of PA and the local laws of W-B TWP, and what pertained to adult entertainment, I came across a name of a man in New Jersey that is a expert in this very matter. Jeff Levy. I contacted Jeff, and he gave me one of the biggest pieces of info I could have hoped to find, he pointed me to articles in some magazines, and discussions on a few web sites that pertained to the so called "Secondary effects" that strip club cause. Jeff did a survey that involved the Fulton County police dept., and several professors from the University of California's Santa Barbara.
The Secondary effects were proving wrong. And this very article is used during court cases, and is winning arguments over and over in the cases against strip clubs.

Secondary Effect proven false

Jeff Levy even volunteered to come to W-B and have a debate in public against Mr.Family in a place of Family's choosing. Numerous e-mails were sent, and all efforts were cut off by Mr.Family. His info is commonly wrong, and he knew this debate would prove him a fool.

Picture takers have seemed to abandon Mr.Family, as his photos have come to halt.
Maybe due to the fact that a few people have gotten themselves in trouble with the local authorities when trying to gain pictures of club patrons. People loitering in the Wyoming Valley mall parking lot trying to take pictures were asked to leave by security, and others ask to leave other local business parking lots surrounding the club. Since Mr.Family does not want anyone to know who he is, he would rather let other people take the risks for him. Yet another flaw in his plans.

Begging others to take his pictures and spread his word has made him some what of a local jester. Many have turned to laughing at the man, including local radio stations, and residents. One even started his own website with comical articles at the expense of Mr.Family. "Mr.Family Funnies" was born. Done by Eric Roberts, his site makes light of Mr.Family's ramblings, and at the same time, makes very valid points. I would recommend you read it for a good laugh.

Many other articles have been posted, by myself, and the opposition. Articles from other states, interviews on radio stations, simple opinions by us both on this matter. The main difference is, I have done my homework on the local laws, and the PA constitution that protects freedom of expression that protects nude dancing.
Mr.Family has proven time and time again, that he has not done any homework in his crusade, he simply rambles on with rumors and false hopes. While he goes on the support for adult entertainment only grows. With the newly passed law, that clubs that are full nude can also serve alcohol, strip clubs continue to operate, while Mr.Family sits in denial and try's to have billboards removed that he doesn't like. And in doing so, only proves once again, that he did not look into the facts before posting and making himself again, look a fool. Thinking that people could complain and get billboards of a local radio station removed, but alas, he was again wrong.

I will continue this site, and bring you any new updates in laws, and happenings in the world of adult entertainment here in the Wyoming valley

97.9X

I will be joining Jim Bone this Friday on 97.9X to discuss the attacks on their bill board by the man known as "Mr.Family" and possibly a few other things. The exact Time I will be on the show I do not know. Sometime between 7 and 10 am. Tune in and take a listen. Jim likes to stir things up, it should be fun. If you are not near a radio, you can listen to it directly off of 979.com.

UPDATE:
I would like to Thank Jim Bone for having me in the studio and giving me a chance to get this site out to folks. I got a lot of calls already this morning after people listened to the interview. The attack in the 97.9x billboards is simply ridiculous. My Guess is that Mr.Family is starting to realize his battle to close club10 has failed, and is trying to accomplish anything he can to save face. But once again he has failed. The billboard ads from 9.79 have nothing that is inappropriate in today's world. Lamar advertising has already commented on this. Just as Besko Media has about Club10's billboard ad a few months back.
All Mr.Family has done is his attempts to close the club and remove the billboards of this area premier radio station, is call more attention to them, and further prove his lack of information lack of credibility.

No more Pictures?

Be careful taking pictures from others property

It seems many people have refrained from getting pictures of club goers in the area as they did in the past. Maybe due to other locations asking them to stop attempting to take pictures from their property. Recently it seems a woman was asked to leave the mall parking lot as she was trying to take photos of club goers to send to a local web site. When mall security approached her, she told them what she was doing, and they told her if she was not shopping, then she is loitering and asked her to leave. A similar situation happened across the street at U Haul. A Couple was sitting in their car trying to get photos when someone approached them from inside and asked them to leave. Considering there have been no pictures since October, it seems local businesses do not want people wandering all over their property while doing the bidding of an anonymous man. Or maybe they have just stopped supporting this man. More to come.

Thank you to Geena and Tom for the info on these two situations.
