More Improper activities by the W-B Township
Gclub10 is holding a charity event that benefit the Luzerne county special Olympics. The event is a 60 mile bike run that starts and ends at the club. The event named "Hooters and Scooters" is to be held on Sept 9th.
However, as the event was to be held in the parking lot, with the ladies from the club DRESSED, W-B township denied the permit to allow the event to take place outside. SO now the event simply takes place inside the club, where now the girls will continue to be nude. The issue is, the board that decided to decline the permit deliberated in private, which is ILLEGAL, do to the sunshine law.
All public permits are to be deliberated and decided on in public for all to see. So just as they first tried to stop the club with shady and illegal was, they are doing it once again. The Club is not even going to bother to fight it as far as I know. They shrugged off the permit hearing, as they realize they will never get the same treatment as other businesses in the area.
It is truly a shame when the local politicians have to cheat to get what they want, and break the rules when they see fit just to get what they want.
So come on out to Club10 on Sept. 9th for yet another great charity cause put on by Gclub10. Registration is at 10 am, and the dire leaves at Noon. Live bands, raffles, and of course, the girls of Club10!

Are you surprised that the local politicians are resorting to improper
ways to get what they want?
They accused the club of doing that when they first opened, but the club did every thing the proper way, W-B twp however, were the ones being shady, and it seems they still are.
too bad the club will not fight it. btw, mr family is back, he posted an article on his site august 17.
Anon 12:56, Mr.Family is old news these days. Someone else told me about his post, and it was pointless.
People have forgotten about him, as he has proven to be very uneducated in the laws of PA and Luzerne county, time and time again.
I posted this new article to show once again how the local community leaders will break the rules time and time again to get what they want. Club10 has stuck to the rules, its the officials who have not.
I am suprised they are not going to appeal.
It's amazing, the club actually tries to give some thing back, and they deny a permit. And for an event that would have been NONE NUDE!
Goes to show you the ignorance of those in this area.
Well kudos for the club for still holding the event inside, and still having the bike run, and STILL donating the proceeds to the Luzerne special Olympics. I have a nephew in that program, and I thank you.
I'm not amazed that the W-B town ship did this. Most of them are morons.

well the township just set the stage ...how could they grant anyone a permit to do the same thing? If they did then what grounds would there have been for the difference?
Anon 7:59, the permit was to be for a charity event to be held outside. You need one to do so, the girls of the club would have been in dresses or shorts, but the Twp denied them, so now they will have the girls on the inside and run things as normal.
The bikes and such will still be on the outside.
They denied them, just to do so, there was no real reason, and they denied them illegally.
