An artilce about Sex addicts

This article by Daniel Linz, Ph.D.,Professor of Communication and Law and Society
University of California, Santa Barbara shows that most of the studies done about "Sex addicts" are not conclusive. And often are bias because of society’s prejudices and the therapist doing the labeling.

It is long, but take the time to read it. it once again PROVES that the label thrown out so often is not always the truth.

Here is a qoute from this article.
Scientific proof. Very nice Mr. Choice.
In summary, before rushing to the judgment that pornography is addicting, we must take note of the following: So-called sexual addiction may be nothing more than learned behavior that can be unlearned; labels such as “sex addict” may tell us more about society’s prejudices and the therapist doing the labeling than the client; scientists who have undertaken scientifically rigorous studies of exposure to sex materials report that despite high levels of exposure to pornography in venues such as the Internet, few negative effects are observed

Yes, various studies have shown this Sean. Yet people still insist on throwing out labels and stereotypes at anyone that goes to a strip club.
It does show the prejudice, and the unwilling to not let the club prove itself by not being a "hub" for illegal activity. Instead the judge it before they have any chance.
