Local Adult Businsess
It seems some people have not realized just how many adult businesses have been in our area, and just how long they have been here. Most seem fixated on a single adult club. Club10. And those people fixated on it are a certain few crying about it ,and want it to close. So why now? Why Club10? Why have they not spoken out about the others places that have been in our local community for years. Cinema 309 has been in the same location, behind Kmart on route 309 for near 20 years. Not a peep. Nor has there been any issue there. The Adult Playtime Boutique at the bottom of Kidder Street, has been open for well over 10 years. Not a complaint, and once again,. never an issue. Adult World in Larksville has been operating for over 20 years and has become a chain of stores, and continues to grow. With more stores opening in other areas. Seems many people must be shopping there.
Then there are the Strip clubs. The In-between lounge on the Sans Souci Parkway. The Cabaret on Market Street in W-B, The Carousel in West Nanticoke, All of these clubs have been open for years, and yet no rise in crime rates, not decline in property values, not a peep. And no one has ever caused real problem. The comes Gentlemen's Club10. All of the sudden, someone has a problem. The club has not had a single issue, other than the typical rumor from those that appose the club trying to cause problems. All of the sudden people have an issue with a strip club, and raise every issue they can trying to shut them down.
The latest rumor is the lack of funds, and the club not paying it's bills. Both false rumors, I assure you. If the club was not paying bills, would not the utilities be turned off? Would it not be in the news? Would they not be closed? Common sense would tell you that, but those opposing the club do not use common sense, they rely on rumor and hearsay. Even when facts are put before them they refuse to believe it. The live in a place I like to call, the great state of Denial.
Still the only time the police were at this club, was when a rally was held by a local religious group and the police showed up to make sure they did not get out of hand.

Mr.Family's entire campaign is revolved around rumor, since that is all he has.
His info is always about what other states do, which has little to do with PA law, and he shows he has no knowledge of that. And other info is all speculation and random blathering from people on his site. He has nothing.
Each time I have been there, there is always a decent crowd. I have not been there on a weekday, But I can't imagine it being overtly busy on a weekday. The weekends are when I have been there.
This is a never ending battle. Sex clubs have been around for ever. And they will never go away. People will complain, others will go to them. Thats it.
They base all there so called knowledge of how much the club eanrns on how many cars are in the parking lot? Thats retarded! lol

I have tried to make comments on Mr.Family's site a few times. As I truly feel he is a religious addict. And he himself may need help. He seems to resort to prayer for anything he can not control himself.
Praying every Friday for a strip club to close is insanity. He refuses to post my comments, which only makes me believe further that he may be an addict, and may not want people to learn it.
